more like less than 10 minutes. get sword and sheild and boom off you go.

in twilight princess it takes 3 hours just to get to the forest temple and that really stops me from ever replaying that game.

Well I was just thinking more in terms of someone who's playing OoT for the first time. For me, yeah, it would take like 10-15 minutes,

still even if its your first time I highly doubt unless you are like a 4 year old that it will take an hour lol. but yea. When people complain about OOT's start I wonder if they actually ever played the game.

Well I did say less than 1 hour. :P

But yeah, the guy I was responding to was saying how i's when you become Adult Link (which is like 5-6 hours in) that the game really got interesting and that the Child Link stuff was a slow start. But whatever your thoughts are about the Child Link parts are, whether you think they were good or bad, you can't call all that the start. That is not the start, that is 1/3 of the entire game. Typically, for Zelda, the start is how long it takes to get to the first dungeon, and OoT is one of the fastest at getting you to that.
