Europe is a huge and very important Market, can't believe MS are happy to compete only in NA...

By the way, I'm expecting 900k/1M PS4 sold by the week ending Nov 29th, the BF week.

Microsoft wants to make an overall profit from the X1. For MS to spend tons of money to raise the baseline in Europe might not be worth it.

However, at the same time, not focusing on Europe limits the demographic scope. You want to sell your console to fans of genres other than shooters and sports. However, if much of the userbase prefers only a select few genres, then it will consequently limit the overall game library.
