Is Square-Enix due for a Nintendo franchise revival?

Would love if it was on Nintendo, or at least multiplat which somehow involved Nintnedo, unless the new game is handheld?

Like others said Mario RPG 2 would be amazing to see, though I really can't see it happening unfortunately.
