Well, the reason is that you are mashing buttons. With zero shield stun and fast rolls and spot dodges, the game heavily rewards defensive gameplay. Not as much as Brawl, but still enough for me to detest its gameplay.

Yep...I'm terrible at using my shield, rolling and dodging. I always have been. I just want to go on offense all the time. Oh..and I have a heavy dependence on items. I love items, especially assist trophies and pokemon. I'm always reminded what a crutch that is when I play a no item match.
