Whats weird is, when we played one on one, there was no lag.
When luinil and Tao joined, the lag came back, but when you left, the lag was gone again.
I think it's nintendo's servers crapping out on us like always.

And yeah it was fun, I miss using Ike.
I forgot how much of a monster he was.
And Pikachu was also really fun. ^_^

I think it's just a matter of how much the servers can handle.  Two people is fairly lag-free (usually anyway).  Three people causes lag every now and then.   Four people... well... you saw that.

And your Pikachu was not fun.  Especially on the Mario Kart stage.  I saw you Side + B move flying toward me and pressed the dodge buttons but the game lag/froze as I pressed them so they never got read.  As a result I died without even a chance to avoid it.

Haha, I remember that.
I was going for tao but I flew past him and went straight to you. ^_^

Anyway, I think Nintendo servers are just a hit or miss kind of deal.
I've played several 4 player lag free brawls.
Team brawls come to mind. There was no lag when Riot and I played team brawl against Brawl4life and taomaster.

I use the classic controller because it's wireless.
And when I move my Wii, I don't need to bring the sensor bar anymore because the classic can navigate the Wii menu without the pointer.
Plus, I like the sounds that come out when I choose a character.
