Die With Pals: Take On Mars Adds Multiplayer & Survival
By Alice O'Connor on November 25th, 2014 at 8:00 pm.
What’s the point of going to Mars if we can’t asphyxiate beneath beige skies? Where’s the triumph if we’re all invincible? If I am not allowed to burst my own head by removing my helmet, I don’t even want to go to Mars. You might as well send a robot instead.
Arma makers Bohemia understand the need for peril, and for people to share that peril with. With the latest Take On Mars update, they’ve added “survival” bits and multiplayer to their Martian roving simulator. Is space-scurvy a thing? I guess we’ll find out.

Posting on the League of Legends forums, Jeffrey Lin (lead designer of social systems) explained a little more about what will be involved in the online study and to seek out participants.
Maniacs: Thimbleweed Park Kickstarter Funded In A Week
By Graham Smith on November 25th, 2014 at 12:00 pm.
Broken Age was trapped between two posts: its need to satisfy the nostalgia of the people who funded it via Kickstarter, and its desire to be accessible and reach a modern audience. The former group seemed displeased with the results, which is maybe what’s pushed Thimbleweed Park beyond its own $375,000 Kickstarter goal in just a week. It’s from the creators of Maniac Mansion, Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, and they’re creating a point and click adventure that feels like “opening a dusty old desk drawer and finding an undiscovered LucasArts adventure game you’ve never played before.”
