Yeah, thats not going to happen. Not with Smash and MK8 out.

Mario Kart 8 released in May 30th.  It was only above 100k that one week and it took three weeks to drop to 60k.  For six weeks it was ~60k or below, and on the seventh week August 23rd, dropped far below, one week was at 50k, until just recently, November first. 

Smash Bros will increase sales for a few weeks like MK8 did, then it'll die again and sell 40k on a regular basis until Nintendo releases something else.  Thing is, until Zelda or Xenoblade Chronicles X comes out there's nothing they can release that's big enough to really push console sales. 

I'm still of the opinion that a $249 Mario Maker bundle next spring could work wonders for WiiU's image and do very well in all regions.
