Bingo. Except I'd say, MS better be prepared to take it (the loss in overall profitability, by far, to Sony and PS3) because their viral marketing campaign earned them every bit of derision they get now, after making PS fans suffer for a couple years. Some MS fans, too, deserve the delicious reversal we've seen. Only some..they know who they are, and they mostly hide now, rather than post, across the Internet.
I used to read Hi Def Digest forums and it was funny how at one point the HD-DVD crowd was really rabid and dominant. In time, they were broken completely by reality and the BDA. Parallel?
