No only that, but the poll asks, "Which character would you like to see in his own adventure?", as if Zelda and Palutena are males.

Male bias confirmed! The majority of non-gamers already think Zelda is the guy with the green hat anyway. :p 

Zelda is boring because he always uses his sword and shield. Also Metroid looks cool without his armor.
