I'm not calling out an entire Nintendo fanbase.

My post only applies to those who do not mind some remakes/remasters while needlessly bashing others. That is the point I am making, that argument shift when it suits an agenda. It applies for all sides. It's just that Pokemon is the other most recent remake and it isn't recieving this same criticism. Heck, not even GTA or Halo collection got this kind of flack, and this game still hasn't gotten the kind of flack TLOU remaster got.

"People" could be any number, be is 2 or even 12, but I am not going to sit here and find each person and name them all individually. They know who they are. If someone is not one of them then my comment shouldn't bother them, seeing as how my comments do not apply to them.

i won't make apologies and I won't change how I post. I call it as it is.

There's one problem with your argument: Nintendo doesn't make remasters of one year old games. In fact, most remakes of Nintendo games are done by third party studios (Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask). So these games in no way come between new games from Nintendo. I think that's a brilliant strategy from Nintendo and I really hope they remake Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 with gorgeous graphics for only €50 (both games combined) or less likely: Metroid Prime Trilogy.

Oh well, this well further skew the Metacritic high-scores and will add yet another 90%+ game for the PS4 even though it doesn't deserve a single one so far (imo).

I'm a relatively new Nintendo fan (I was a fan of Metroid before I knew Nintendo made the game), so I didn't get the chance to play games like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and WInd Waker (I had a GC, but I played MK: DD and Metroid Prime 1&2 on it ALL the time lol), etc. before they were remade.

As much as I want updated graphics for Pikmin 3 I'm not going to buy it again if Nintendo decided to remake it already in 2015 lol...

I personally have no issues with remakes or Remasters, I think they are great. More games for everyone.

I also don't believe age matters when making them, especially if it is a title made at the end of a generation that is upgraded for the new gen. That has been happening for a long long time. It's nothing new and I don't see why it gets so many up in arms.

Your Pikmin example also would only work if the successor to the WiiU released in 2015 with an updated version on it. You also must understand that it isn't aimed just at people who already own the titles. I am sure there would be many who might be interested in it that did not buy it in the WiiU.
