When talking about AA J-RPG they want to keep their fanbase, for sure, but before anything it's an extremely loyal audience. Just look at KH spinoffs : 3 different platforms, and ~even sales on all games

None of those have been on a platform that did/does quite frankly horrible in Japan. The XBO has an ltd of less than 50k in Japan.
