The picture implies people don't constantly complain about the rehashing of series like COD too.

There's a reason Nintendo are so frequently criticized for their 'rehashing' of series, a reason that picture illustrates in part. The overwhelming majority of their major active IPs are series they've been churning out for years/decades. Compared to Sony (an easy comparison for obvious reasons) whose 2nd, 3rd and 4th biggest IPs last gen were new, it's easy to understand why people complain.

There's no denying the quality of Nintendo titles, but there's likewise no denying they rely a lot on the same series and characters to sell their consoles each gen.

Pointing out that other publishers rehash games doesn't stop the criticism towards Nintendo being valid ("But officer, those people were doing it too!"). Nor, as i mentioned, are they the exclusive receivers of such criticism. They just happen to be one of three directly competing and constantly compared publishers.

On a side note, this picture/list is way too cherry picked to be taken seriously. Why group series into selective genre? Is the over use of characters not another major criticism towards Nintendo? And why not mention that there are almost 50 'Pokemon' related titles? (and yes, that's without counting the different versions as separate games). I could go on, but you get the point.
