As was predicted, #38 was Pokemon Black/White 2. The games manage to improve on the original in almost every way, which is quite a feat when you consider the original was already a brilliant game. Having a different start to the game was a brilliant way to begin the game, which suggested that the title really would be more than "just another third game". Hopefully, this will follow suit for X and Y.

#37 is, again, a sequel to a previous game on this list. Isn't that strange?
