Rapala Fishing for the Wii was disappointing, but I wasn't expecting much. So the crown goes to ToeJam & Earl on the Wii Virtual Console.
I had heard so much enthusiasm for it from friends and online, I guess I was looking forward to a lot more. The game has a good sense of humor about it, and the music excels by 16-bit standards of funk, but there really isn't that much to do. Wander around the levels looking for spaceship parts, avoid the enemies, make use of the minimal powerups. My wife and I played two-player for a bit, which had its moments, but it didn't really grab me enough to actually try to finish the game.
(On the other hand, after putting off buying it for several weeks, VC Battle Lode Runner for the TG-16 has me seriously addicted for short stretches of time every now and then. So I will continue to purchase VC games and hope the hits continue to outnumber the misses!)
