Nov is definitely getting interesting. There was a post on Gaf where the member said the PS4 has started to overtake the XBO in sales for the week in his district.  And by quite a bit.  The PS4 seems to be remaining on top on Amazon hourly, while the XBO Unity Bundle is starting to slowly fall, like the other XBO bundles did. And the PS4 Destiny Bundle is hanging above the next XBO SKU on the list.

Like I said before, the PS4 has remained above the XBO on Wal-Mart and Gamestop all month. And on both sites, it seems the PS4 has moved up a few spots, while the XBO has dropped a few. On Wal-mart, the PS4 has 5 SKUs (#1, #9, #10, #16, and #18) in the Top 20 (when just looking at PS4 and XBO items), while XBO has 3 (#2, #4, and #12.)

MS hardly has this month on lock. If Sony pulls off a victory in Nov, as well, it will be quite devastating for MS, considering how much profit they are sacrificing this month and next just to try and beat the PS4.

That is a very good point. MS has to continuously rely on burst sales with bundles and price drops and game
s. They get a temporary boost and then drop back down while Sony sales stay consistently higher with occasional sales spikes. Sony can still take November if they get some spikes to make up the difference. I simply mean that this is MS best chance to win one and I really hope they lose...it would be a heavy blow to lose this NPD after everything they've done and Phil Spencer made that comment about how the last quarter is the only one that matters if you win. They're either going to have a hollow close victory or a devastating loss.
