Fans cheer ‘smooth’ Smash Bros. Wii U online experience while Microsoft and Sony games struggle - Anyone finding this to be true?

Not many if I were to guess. Many of them are 2d though.

And Many don't sell like Smash Bros during launch either nor do they have 4 player modes

Why bring up the sales? I cant see any other "traditional" fighter that could work with 4 player mods outside of tag with a few have.

Its nice that the games online is running well but I dont consider that a technical feat (for a fighter) and the cheap shots at Microsoft and Sony arent classy. The way I see it the sole point of that article is to reinforce the "Nintendo == Quality" rhetoric. Fighting games (which always work) aside it conveniently ignores titles like Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive which have solid online features just to paint "those other companies" in a bad light based on two cherry picked (and high profile) games to make a biased point.
