With the documented development woes etc, I wonder if Sega just put this out anyway to get out of their Nintendo exclusivity contract. It's a shame mind, I really loved Sonic: Lost World, even if the press didn't for the most part. I thought Boom had a lot of potential, just not as a Sonic game (looked more like a love letter to Sony's PS2 platformers).
