Amazon is not an authority on sales. Its used to measure trends. Its effect is even less so when considering software sales.
COD could just sell more over the counter than it sells online. And I would expect this to be true of all games, especially those that have midnight launches at retail stores and those that command an audience like COD. Why wait for a game to come in the mail when you can just go to your store at night?
Besides, do you really think more people would have gone out to buy a remaster than a brand new game in a very very popular franchise just a few days from eachother?
