Yea but its optional to learn in highschool. Essentially what happened was that in Grade 8, I was whining to my friends about how boring it is to learn French and the teacher overheard me and said "then why did you take it, its optional?" And then I was like, really? Well shit and I never took French again after that and I mostly forgot it since then
