It's Nintendo published, so it may as well. I mean Hyrule Warriors wasn't Nintendo developed either, but we call it Nintendo. Technically, DK 64 and the Metroid Prime series weren't either, yet we call them Nintendo, and DKC:TF is being considered in this thread, so yeah, not developed by Nintendo, but effectively a Nintendo game.
