Best Indie game IMO.
For newcomers, I'd skip Binding of Isaac and the Wrath Of The Lamb expansion, and just go straight for Rebirth. Also, it takes a lot of getting used to, but once you're comfortable beating the final boss, more iems/enemies/rooms/everything is progressively unlocked keeping the game ever fresh and challenging.
Don't forget to have this open when playing so you'll have an idea of what everything does, and whether or not it's worth sacrificing gold/hearts for:
