Dawn of Apes was my favourite movie of the year thus far. Incredibly emotional film, Koba was an excellent villain and Andy Serkis did a fantastic job as Caesar. Really everyone in that film did a top notch job, I loved every second of it even on a second watch. Guardians was great too, but lost some of it's charm for me after watching it a second time. Still a great film though, my second favourite this year.
Still going to most likely see Gone Girl, Foxcatcher, Interstellar and Hobbit so they might take up the second spot, but I honestly doubt anything will match Dawn of Apes for me this year. I loved that film.
