It's called Best-SELLERS for a reason. 


You completely missunderstood what he said.

Those aren't sales because if they are fraud, they will be refunded and never shipped.  A hit is a Buy Now Click, not an actual shipment.  

Ff said "site hits" which is very misleading, because the only way you really get a "site hit" is by clicking add to cart. The way you scam another retailer is by showing your cart with a $99 PS4 in it  and say "Youz gots to price matchez", so yeah the sale never goes through and amazon is never even called on to refund money. Amazon should not record it as a sale, but for the most part when something gets added to cart it goes through to be a sale. So 99.9% of the time adding to cart being counted as a sale is OK.

The blip is so short term and temporary that it won't affect the monthy or even the weekly best seller list.
