Those PSP revisions didn't get any exclusive content like the N3Ds apparently will. And they were more of downgraded/cheaper variants. Like the 2DS is to 3Ds.

What game? Nintendo classifies the Game Boy/Game Boy Color & DS/DSi as part of the same hardware line, which is why people here do it too.

OT: Congrats to PSP! It kind of fizzled out near the end of its life, but I did enjoy it quite a bit! PSone classics & a lot of Square Enix games (Tactics Ogre, War of the Lions, Crisis Core) got a lot of playtime from me :D

And it doesn't matter what Nintendo wants me to think of it. The n3Ds is its own system because it will have its own exclusive library of games, possibly system sellers even.

There are more reasons for it being a 3ds than not. Not because of Exclusive games, which only was announced and its a wii port.
