I think we can all agree that in the sales perspective, its doing pretty bad.
But as a owner, i am loving it.
My top 3 games so far would be: Super Mario 3D world, Mario kart 8 and Nintendo Land - i just love game which have local multilayer ( + online would be great too)
The miiverse community just blows my mind. Especially the AMAZING art works on Art Academy.
The gamepad are really shining in most of the games and apps.
Recommendations for the Future:
- I thonk nintendo should incorporate more online multiplayer in both their future games and past games too. I would love if a patch happens on some of the games which have already released to have online multiplayer (probably wont happen). But we can see it shine with mk8 and the upcoming smash with the tournaments.
- I think the amiibos is an AMAZING idea, like how they work on multiple games ( makes the ammibos itself worth much more, and makes people to buy other games which they also work). I still think that the amiibos needs to shine more ( and i think we'll definitely see that) + i also have a crazy idea how nintendo should work with anime companies to create ammibos on Anime characters 
especially since anime fans spend hundreds of dollars on one figurine.
- I also like how they are bringing past franchises back to the wii u - i think they should do more of these, while also releasing new ips.
I think for now that the wii u will INDEED COME IN THIRD PLACE
BUT
Nintendo should just gain as much profit as they can with this.
