I Played Ultra Street Fighter on my PS3 using my DS4 before I sold my PS3. It worked fine, you plug it by USB, and it works instantly. I'm not sure what games it does and doesn't work for, I'm not sure about the compatibility between the share button being used as the select button. And obviously no touchpad functionality. But form my experience it works, only pain is that the ps button doesn't work, so to quit your games if you ONLY have DS4 you have to turn off your PS3.
