Well, right now, X1 took week 1 and looks like it will squeak out week 2. The bundle restocks should help them get another bump, but I would find it odd if they didn't play their hand already. From a psychological perspective, it seems unlikely that the 2nd/3rd/nth bundle restock will garner the same excitement/generate the same momentum as the 1st. BF is BF, and the X1 may have just moved a lot of sales forward. We would be foolhardy to dismiss the impact of the lower price, though.

X1 sales went up for a few reasons, but most were temporary bumps. Even the cut is labeled "temporary" by them to motivate sa;es right away not later. Its a few bumps waring of already, back to normal more or less.

It seems to have normalized to a marginal lead for X1; I think the X1 restocks (rumored for tomorrow) will tell us a lot about what to expect for BF and moving forward. I'm honestly still surprised that Sony didn't bite the bullet and match the "temporary" price cut, at least for new bundles.
