Well I think the US has better tastes than the UK, honestly. Take out all the bargain bin sales from the UK chart and Europe starts to look more diverse. Japans got them all beat in terms of IP variety though. Maybe even genre variety, with all the niche genres that keep living on over there despite the slow rise of western games.
