Anyone who watched any of the promotional videos should have expected it. It looked embarrassingly bad from the start.
I can't help but feel a bit of schadenfreude over this and Colonial Marines. Sega went from being one of the best publishers of the past gen to a risk averse pile of boringness and incompetence. It's hilarious and baffling to watch. I mean, if you're going to double down on 2-3 IPs to the exclusion of everything else, you'd think you would actually want to make those games really, really good.
