Mmm ,interesting data .The main new is the X360 falls again for the 5 consecutive month .

December 1 million
January 280 K (this is normal after christmas )
February 220K
March 199K
April 175K
May 154K.

The Wii continues to sell very strong ,and the PS3 keeps its sales although no games have been released in May (aside from the Spiderman 3 and Pirates movie cash-ins ) but this shouldnt be a good new as those sales are just plain poor .The PSP sells very strong .I expected this after the price drop ,that price drop in Europe is working miracles for the handheld (many people are asking me for the handheld now appealed by the price ) and it was normal that it would make some impact in the US .DS numbers continues to be obscenely strong as well ,this time fuelled by Pokemon but it doesnt matter if Pokemon wasnt out it would still sell very strong that machine is like that it just cant stop selling .

Only thing is that some of the data should be changed ,as now the difference between vgchartz and NPD for X360 numbers is nearly 1 millon and thats too much as Canada cant justify that big difference .

One more thing .Now I am sure the PSP software numbers cant be correct .THe console is selling quite well and its userbase is nearly 30% higher than last year while the actual game sales after this site show a drop in sales that would be as great as 50% .Last year most NPD data showed the PSP software selling 1 million per month consistently (the lowest number was 650K ) ,theres no way that now with a bigger userbase a lot of good games in catalogue and many games with reduced prices it is selling half that .
