Thats right. But not bad imho.

MS already had something like 48 million subscription with 360. So more than 1 out of 2 users.

Online gaming is even more mainstream now, so that's kinda bad.

the ms number included silver accounts (aka non-paying, no online).    ps+ is equivilant to live gold which was never that big.  i'm not sure we ever got an exact number but the ~20M or so was a widely accepted approximation.

the ps+ number is pretty good.
