my problem with nintendo

Curious to know the reasoning behind this. From what I understand you don't seem to particularly like Nintendo at all aside from Pokemon. Why would it matter to you if they were 3rd party? So you can be disinterested in their games on all the consoles they release on?

I definitely like Pokemon, but I like some of their other games as well though.

Main reason is achievements/trophies though. I just want to be able to play their games and earn achievements/trophies in them. I even did a thread saying games without them feel like a waste of time compared to those with them. They wouldn't even need to go 3rd party to get achievements/trophies in their games either!

I get what you're saying, but it seems like a pretty arbitrary reason to want a console maker to go 3rd party. Dumping hardware has very negative implications for a company, just look at companies like Sega & Atari. Nintendo would have to layoff a lot of people to make that transition, and there's really no way to be sure it wouldn't affect their ability to make quality software.
