Why do so many people say things like this? Being within a few percentage points of an LTD isn't impressive when you have previous data points on it. Take a hypothetical system that had a known LTD of 100m at the end of 2013. I estimate 4 million sales for 2014, but it actually sells 1 million. You don't look at the 104m vs 101m and say I was within 3%. That base 100m was already a known quantity. You look at the portion that was unknown (1m vs 4m), so my estimate would have been 300% off.
