The problem with the 3DS isn't so much the hardware price I think. The hardware itself has been very affordable for a long time now. It's the $40 games that parents/kids aren't biting on anymore.

Indeed, I know it wouldnt cause sales to skyrocket to the heavens or anything but I think $19.99-$29.99 is what 3DS software should cost.

Not at all, but it'll sure have a noticable drop in quality if priced at $19.99,  depending on the game though.

I think the bigger games would be $29.99, games like Pokemon/Smash Bros/Mario Kart/Mario platformers/Zelda/Animal Crossing. Smaller titles like Kirby/Yoshi/Mario Party/Tomodachi would be $19.99. Basically I want Nintendo to start pricing their games based on budget instead of releasing all games in the $34.99-$39.99 range
