It's not even close to being the same thing because Sony didn't focus TV for its reveal or its ads. I'm already seeing some comments like this on Neogaf.

Yeah, it's the same thing with Nintendo and mature games. People use to say "But it has Resident Evil!" back in the day but did we ever see that being pushed by the company? No? It's the same thing here. PS4 is about gaming with some added stuff thrown in. Xbone is about some added stuff with gaming thrown in (or atleast use to). 

There's a difference.
