Amiibo figures can only hold information for one game at a time

3 current games use amiibos. 1 is written data, other 2 are read data. 3 other known games are having amiibo support, they will most likely be read data like every future game to come.

So any future game with amiibo support will just have unlockables like in Hyrule Warriors? That's really sad and somehow I doubt that. Not all future games will be only read data as you say. If so, then Nintendo REALLY screwed this up and has no idea wtf they're doing. Well, they already screwed it up but hey.
