User scores are garbage, even moreso than this game. It sucks because the core of the game is great but it is blatantly unfinished and rushed with no QA whatsoever so I cannot recommend anyone purchase this game.
That said, Sonic shouldn't be hard to master. I am willing to bet that I could design the best sonic game since Sonic 3 if I had an artist, musician, and some programmers. I would cut my head off with a chainsaw on twitch if given the shot and I failed because the concept is so simple to make work.
