Nintendo should just go ahead and make a semi-realistic kart racer or just a semi-realistic racer with car licenses in the form of amiibos. There were tons of car games on N64 back in the day, now only two exists and will ever exist it seems. 3DS is also a barren wasteland of racers.
What's Monster Games doing? I mean their wiki says they specialise in racing games. It seems that it's Nintendo's only studio apart to actually do this. It'd be a shame to waste them on grunt work forever. No bugs this time though..that was lame.
