Also this just sucks! There goes that epic battle where I trapped an opponent in Rosaluma's final smash and then me and my teammate just wailed on him! Got him up to 350% damage before he insta died to the star's explosion! Was especially funny how his teammate could do nothing but sit there watching his ally getting f'ed up!

I'm with you here. If balancing updates do this each time, I might not be updating every time. Although...the updates are installed on the system, not the game card, so couldn't you just put the game card into a different system that doesn't have the updates installed yet?
