Has 8-Player Smash Bros destroyed any chance of a sequel for PS AllStars Battle Royale?

I cannot tell you whether or not a sequel was/is in the works, though I suspect not.

But I can tell you that there is no way in hell 8-player Smash Bros. would have any effect on it whatsoever.
