Skyward Sword really drives home how terrible it is when you want to view the Help menu. Reaching for the center buttons on a dual analogue controller is natural, you're reaching across the controller. It's not even that far from the face buttons. Oh, don't even tell me about that stupid help menu. It just kept showing up and distracting me in the middle of all the most intense battles as I got nervous and started holding the controller tightly, accidentally pressing that stupid 2 button. So yeah, I guess opposite problem here. But obviously I wasn't pressing it with a thumb, but rather the palm of my hand.

I didn't even think of trying that. Maybe next time... not that I need the help button anymore. Early in the game I used it occasionally to remind myself of some of the controls, damned if I can remember which ones. Maybe rolling?
