That's because those were the Big 3 of holiday 2007 ... until Brawl got delayed. There is no reason to call those 3 the "Big 3" anymore.

No, they were the big AAA games that Nintendo was getting. For most of 2007, they were infact the only announced AAA games. Everyone was discussing them, which would sell the most, be the best etc.

So please, everyone, stop ranting about "OMG why isn't mario kart wii considered on the big 3 or ZELDA", they were never part of the big 3.
