I'm male and find myself naturally picking to play as a male if I have a choice, but when I don't have that choice it doesn't bother me in the slightest to play a women.
Expectedly if they're have properly thought out personalities as in last years Tomb Raider game or Bayonetta 2.
I'm all for a range of positive representations of females and minority groups in video games though. We'd all benefit from a richer, less clichés portrayals of women, ethnic groups and lgbt people.
