The 70mm version only runs in select IMAX theaters, I guess they would have advertized that. It should look 4x sharper than 35mm, but since you haven't been in 15 years... The last true 70mm 'film' I saw was in Futuroscope in France 14 years ago. I've never seen a feature length movie in IMAX that was actually made with 70mm cameras.
I just watched Edge of tomorrow 7.5/10
It started of great, sci-fi groundhog day version of the opening of saving private Ryan. The editing was smart enough to keep the pace up and not draw out the repetitions while inserting some humor into a pretty nasty experience. It felt a bit like playing a platformer level from hell, but with shortcuts opening up. It made the 1 in a million nonsense action scenes you always see plausible.
Was a solid 8, maybe 8.5 until the screenwriters ran out of ideas and took his ability away. I was expecting some horrible desperate attempt to kill himself (127 hours style yet not to survive) to trigger another reset, then they could take a shortcut with the new information and work on the next path. Instead it went into implausible standard action mode, basically undoing the first part of the movie. He can do it all without root learning or even getting hurt. 6/10 for the final 3rd and 5/10 for the cowardly happy ending making up new rules last minute.
