Last I checked, ff 13-3 sold less on x360 than many multiplats on wii u and SE is still putting those games on the far less successfull x1. FF 15 and type 0 on wii u are obvious choices because of the bigger japan installed base and general audience. you also have to remember that even the low cost non numbered FF crystal chronicles sold more than a million on gamecube.

kingdom hearts hasnt been released on a sony home console for a long time, so the audience is not there (or at least is not obvious that is there). see how your first point is baseless now? also, KH was never on a xbox console. the fact stands that kingdom hearts always sells well on nintendo handhelds and it makes absolute sense to have a version of KH 3 on wii u. being the lead home console in japan helps.

Revelations was a late 3ds port, thus all post 3ds versions lost potential. but the important part is that the wii u version sold half of what the 360 version sold, with it's 10x+ bigger installed base. now compare wii u vs xone installed bases, especially in japan. you can either argue that it shouldn't be on neither wii u nor x1, or that it should be on wii u, but not x1 (that is, if you want to exclude at least one platform).

FF15 would require an extensive re-work to make it run on the Wii U, an expensive one, while porting between PS4 and X1 requires just a resolution change  and minor tweeks. The japanese audience for the Wii U is bigger, but the types of games that they are buying are not making a strong argument for traditional genres.

Kingdom Hearts just got 2 remasters on the PS3 (1.5 and 2.5) and both got pretty good sales, so the audience is there, Sony and Square are working to keep it there. Same porting issue, between PS4 and X1 minor stuff, but from those to Wii U major changes.

Revelations 2 should not be on X1 or Wii U, but they have more faith on the X1 and I don't blame them, even with a smaller install base many of the third party games sold a lot of copies, and is just logical to think that the same will happen again.

just no. you people should stop this thought that porting to wii u is something out of this world. resolution and minor tweeks is exactly what porting to wii u should be. and I just told you revelations sold very little on the 360, only double of the wii u version and its much smaller base, yet say it's logical to put it on x1 and skip wii u?
