Bayonetta 2 sales could quite conceivably reach or pass the Xbox 360 sales of the original. 

He said PS360. The point is that it would sell more as a multiplat.

Except that it couldn't have gotten made as a multiplat; Nintendo stepping in to publish is all that saved it from being just another sequel that never happened.
