MS is not deciding who and what shipments come in. Retailers do. The standard console is out of stock because Amazon didn't order enough. The Sunset Bundle is out of stock because it sells well.

its just easy.
amazon either underestimate the demand after the pricedrop, so they sold out
or they wanted to get rid of stock to replace the normal xb1 sku with another one

but we know they backordered the normal sku again. so its probably the first. (not implying the had many in the warehouse left. they ordered more of the new skus because of the better value. thats ovbious)

As I had suspected, they are pushing Assassin's Creed bundle (which is better btw).  

So the bigger question is when will the vinilla XBO come back?

its sold out form amazon as seller right now.
will come back in stock on the 15th
