and i am just talking about exclusives , add that the multiplts and you see the picture there, i am sure xbox console had a vast library too , so this "Playstation and Xbox concentrate on shooters and M-rated fare" you said is totaly not true.

And just because sony and microsoft have pretty graphics does not mean they dont focus on gameplay , you can have both.

LBP and Knack are not Sony's focus any more than Fatal Frame and Bayonetta 2 are Nintendo's focus.

Look at the main franchises, the ones that get the budget and marketing, the ones that get priority. Uncharted/Killzone/Infamous are in a similar vein to Halo/Gears of War, Gran Turismo is in the same vein as Forza. Xbox and Sony prioritise the same demographic range.
