Or they could have release it without releasing a trilogy just 1 week before, so people would not feel ripped-off, if the trilogy was postponed (not even announced) for 3 more months... maybe ME3 would have had a fighting chance.

hang on are you suggesting that they should have screwed the PS360/PC players by delaying the trilogy to appease the much smaller Wii U userbase?

They should have just released the trilogy the same across all consoles including Wii U. Or not have released anything for Wii U at all. Usually i say a game is better than no game, but ME relies to much on continuity to just have one game in the series.
