Except Wii U's exclusive lineup, target demographic, controller, and design philosophy are far removed from the HD twins.

As I said, Take the pad out of the equation and you have a last gen HD Triplet. The exclusive line up is exclusive just like any other console, but when you're swimming in a sea of third party it makes exclusives stand out to the true gamers but to the casuals it makes it harder to discern.

Sony and MS's exclusives are similar compared to Nintendo's very different appproach to game design.
And the Pad can't just be discounted.
